it goes on

Well I had one of those moments today were I said something and as some as I said It I was thinking "oh no shouldn't have said that"; meanwhile your toes are curls inside your shoes.  When those moments happen It always brings me to one of my favorite quotes... by Robert Frost: In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on.

So true... lets move on...

My handsome brother ,Jake, holding Abby for the first time!

Abby gives Seth some of the best smiles

Always trying to help put the pacifier in her mouth.

Seth found this cute shell in our yard.  He gave it to me so I'm going to consider this my first gift from him!

my little helper

Seth loves "helping" he loves doing the things that I'm doing.  One of his favorites is helping with laundry.  Nothings more fun then putting dirty clothes in the washing machine!  Or piling clothes in the clothes baskets!

reorganizing my piles and trying to stuff things in the washer!

Busy boy!

Friday the 13th ultrasound!

I had my ultrasound on Friday for baby #2! I scheduled the appointment late in the day so Jesse could make it.  It's a little nerve racking the first few minutes of the ultrasound; hope nothing is wrong with baby.  Everything was wonderful, right on schedule and baby is looking good.  Praise the Lord!

Seth and I ready to leave for the twenty week ultrasound! Half way there!
Following the ultrasound we had homemade pizza at my mom and dad's house. Yummmmmm. Then we went and rented a stupid Adam Sandler movie (Jack and Jill) for the night.  It actually was really funny... I was just disappointed they didn't have War Horse :(

a precious sound

Today was our first prenatal doctor appointment for baby # 2!  We nailed down a due date... August 27 2012, which makes me 15 weeks along.
I cringe going to doctor appointments thinking about how much we are spending on visits and tests. But when it comes time to hear the baby's heart beat for the first time it's really an incredible moment;  that always brings tears to my eyes!

It's a special moment to hear the baby's fast heart beat against my heart beat in the back ground.  This makes the pregnancy feel more real.  Although I have been feeling baby move around already and that defiantly feels real!  Here we go again!

I praise you because I am fearfully, and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. ~ Psalms 139: 14

end of August

Yikes it's March already!  We have to start seeds soon for our garden!  Yay!  Spring is almost here!  Lately I have been suffering from a really bad cold that doesn't want to go away :\  Luckily Seth has been avoiding all the nasty germs that have been going around.  I hate it when babies are sick.
The main exciting news is...

We are expecting another baby!  If all goes well we will be welcoming this new baby at the end of August beginning of  September!  We don't have a for sure due date quite yet. Looks like things will be getting pretty busy around here!

What Seth has been up too.
  1. Him and I made his first snowman the other day :)  Sadly I don't have any pictures due to the neighbor plowing his snowman over :(
  2. Hubby and Seth are taking a tot and parent swim class every Saturday for the next 6 weeks :)  This was actually Jesse's idea and was very excited about taking his boy swimming.  So far Seth LOVES the pool but hates the loud locker rooms and shower. (pictures to come)
  3. Seth's going to be a big brother! Oh boy what a shock that will be when he's no longer the center of attention!
  4. Not really pertaining to Seth but still exciting for me.  Eli, our loveable mutt, has a electric fence now.  Which is keeping him home and out of the neighbors hair.  YAY for Petsafe electric fences!

I do

Four years ago I said " I do" to a very special person.  Today we are still happily married to each other!  My promise still remains today as it will in another four years and years to come...  "I will love you completely and forever"

Following our wedding Jesse and I took off on a three month honeymoon in South America.  We traveled to 6 different countries, starting in Buenos Ares, Argentina.  (Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, Ecuador, & Bolivia.)

In the salt flats of Bolivia.

Some times it feels good to reminisce.  What will the next four years bring?
